Since 1996, guidance of the Centre passed to Gen Rinpoche\u2019s two principal disciples- Venerable Thupten Rinpoche and Venerable Lhagon Rinpoche.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">When Geshe Ngawang Dhargyey passed on in August 1995, a commemorative stupa, the Portobello Peace Stupa, was built in his memory under the guidance of Venerable Thupten Rinpoche and consecrated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in September 1996.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">For background and history visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhargyeybuddhism.com\/\">Dhargyey Buddhist Centres<\/a> website.<\/p>\n<h2>Whangarei<\/h2>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Jam Tse Dhargyey Ling\u00a0is a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre in Whangarei, New Zealand.
